well it's over now. we got around a metre of snow in less than 24 hours.

school was cancelled for 2 days, people cross country skiing through the streets, i jumped off some roofs and off stairwells.. it was a lot of fun. was supposed to be 3 feet total over the two nights but 3 feet fell in 12 hours and it kept coming. it was up past my waist when i went outside. driving was so dangerous that ironically were no slowplows allowed. at times it was totally white outside, the wind around 100km/hr. they declared a state of emergency/disaster zone.. and then friday night a curfew on the city, no one could go out from 11pm until 7am. same goes for tonight, but luckily i got to fly back home to toronto this morning, just after the curfew went off.... thousands are stuck there (it is reading week/march break for us university students) so total chaos in the airports.. 15 air canada flights cancelled... madness.
